It's 2009!

Wow, it is hard to believe that we are beginning yet another year! Time really does fly when you get older. I know everyone says that, but boy is it the truth!

I had an eventful couple of weeks over the holidays. It started with the construction at our condo the weekend before Christmas. The pinch of drywall in my cookies made them the best around... or so my husband said. We had a crazy Christmas Eve, travelling from the hubby's grandma's house, to my grandma's house to my parents house where we all spent the night! It was a really fun night with my family. My mom bought us all pajamas and we made the boys wear them too. We opened presents and drank tea and played with our doggies. Then Christmas day after waking up at mom and pop Pauly's house, we went over to mom and pop Smith's house. We opened more presents and drank some Baileys and milk. Yum, yum. Of course Jake and his brother got motorcycle parts for Christmas so they had to spend some time out in the garage!

After our eventful Christmas we headed out to the desert for some dirtbiking with the family. It was good times as usual but, the coldest it has been out there in a long time! I believe it was in the 20's at night.... and we were in a tent! Yikes. We then headed home on Sunday for preparation for our next adventure.

For New Years Eve, we went out to dinner with our friends to a restaurant called Opah in Irvine. It was such a good meal, the best of 2008! It was a very relaxing evening, and I was glad it wasn't too crazy for us old married people!

Then New Yeard Day we headed out to San Elijo for some beach camping. It was tons of fun! A little cold, but tons of fun. My sis and I planned our meals for every day... the wifey thing to do. The boys surfed, the girls talked... just perfect. We got to hang out with some great friends who we don't get to see as often as we would like.... :) And their noble dog!

Anyway, here we are in 2009. Can't believe it. Time to make some new memories! Let's get to it.

I have to say my favorite part was OPAH... I LOVE food!

The PJ party was up there too... family, tea and some dynamite Spongebob Jamys... need I say more?
